➡️ The announcement of the Liberation from the twenty years of fascism and the war started from a building on the southern outskirts of Milan, where in 1945 there were only a few factories and many cultivated fields. The EIAR (the RAI at the time) had, in fact, moved its broadcasting studios there after the bombing of Corso Sempione and on 26 April, from the antennas in via Antonini 50, the notes of the Mameli anthem were played, the announcement of the Liberation and, a few days later, the news of Mussolini's shooting.
