Thursday 10 August. Milan remembered the Nazi-fascist massacre which occurred 79 years ago, in Piazzale Loreto in Milan, during the Second World War. 

At 9 am, in Piazzale Loreto (near the stele dedicated to the 30 martyrs), the deputy mayor of Milan Anna Scavuzzo took part in the commemoration of the 15 partisans taken from the San Vittore prison and shot at dawn on 10 August 1944 by a platoon of the Muti Legion, on the orders of the Nazis.

After the laying of the wreaths, speeches were held by the authorities present. The ceremony is organized by ANPI Milan and coordinated by its president Roberto Cenati. He also spoke Sergio Fogagnolo, son of Umberto, one of the 15 martyrs, president ofAssociation "The roots of peace. The fifteen".
