"The history of Milan in 50 minutes” is a show of the company Fairy Tale Game Company conducted by three actors and two musicians of theGiuseppe Verdi Orchestra of Milan (violin and cello) for a mixed audience aged 10 and over.

It is an ironic and rhythmic show that does not give up a poetic look at the city and the surrounding area, perhaps in love with the protagonist of the story, to tell the story from the Celts to the present day.

A girl without memory walks uncertainly among streets and buildings that remind her of something, that seem like shadows of a city she once knew, chapters of stories now forgotten...

But how did this story begin?

In the beginning there is the confusion of the Celts in front of a pig, or rather a slut, a little hairy and a little not... then the Spaniards, French, Austrians pass by... uncles and nephews battle and it is a continuous building and tearing down ; walls, doors, churches, canals and palaces... in short, the confusion increases!

And what if the true meaning of this city so difficult to remember was in this chaotic and constant change?

Three actors and two musicians will try to tell us about it, and perhaps to put some order in, on the unusual stage of the historic Sorman Library.

The show will be staged in the Grechetto Hall of the Sormani Library, in Corso di Porta Vittoria 6 in Milan, on Friday 29 September at 17.00 pm also on the occasion of the presentation of the project “THE GHOST OF SORMANI”; program of theatrical visits to the library dedicated to primary school classes.
