Gariwo's podcast dedicated to the figures honored at the Garden of the Righteous in Milan is back, in its second season. It starts on January 27th with Fernanda Wittgens, the inspector of Brera who saved works of art and persecuted people during the Second World War, and continues until March 6th, Day of the Righteous, with five other figures. •    Exhibition "100 Righteous from the world"
Much appreciated especially by schools, the exhibition 100 Righteous from the World returns to the Shoah Memorial in Milan, starting from Tuesday 10 January and until Sunday 5 February: the exhibition, which was hosted in November 2019 at the Memorial, tells the stories of men and women who chose the opposite of indifference, extending a hand, even at their own risk. The exhibition features 14 drawings by Jean Blanchaert.

•    Travel Community of Memory

•    Draw me your tree
Draw Me Your Tree is a concert for chamber ensembles and fantasy drawings on the occasion of Remembrance Day. Children are invited to draw their imaginary Tree of the Righteous and bring it to the concert. A project aimed at primary and lower secondary school students which aims to bring children closer to the stories of the Righteous, models who teach how to live sustainably in the world. The event will be held on Thursday 26 January at 18pm and is part of the Allegro Sostenibile series: five events dedicated to sustainability in the program of the Teatro del Buratto at the Teatro Bruno Munari in Milan.

•    Nedo, civil theater monologue - Pime Theatre
January 27, 2023 at 10:30 am for high schools
January 27, 2023 at 21:00 pm for civil society

Nedo is a civil theater monologue written by Alessandra Dondi, Alice Ponti, Matilde Dalla Piazza and Antonio Roma. Nedo enjoys the patronage of the Gariwo Foundation - the forest of the Righteous, because we believe that his precious testimony must continue to be told, so as not to leave room for indifference. Nedo Fiano lived through the hell of Auschwitz and decided to tell it, no matter how much harm he could do. He told the kids about his experience in the concentration camp to teach them to become sentinels against every new form of hatred, because we must always be aware that evil can return if we leave space and freedom and democracy can be lost.
