With the patronage of City of Milan
It was mafia. This was established on 16 December 1987 by the Court presided over by Alfonso Giordano with Pietro Grasso as a side judge, at the end of the Palermo Maxi Trial. For the first time in Italy a court of the Republic recognized the existence of Cosa Nostra as a criminal association and sentenced its leaders to life imprisonment.
Thirty-five years after that historic ruling, WikiMafia – Free Encyclopedia on MafiasIn partnership with Presidency of the Anti-Mafia Commission of the Municipality of Milan, organizes an in-depth event open to citizens on the day of the 35th anniversary, Friday 16 December, 18 pm, in Room 30 in Via Festa del Perdono 201/3, University of Milan.
It was mafia, the guests:
- Pietro Grasso, former president of the Senate and judge on the side;
- Nando from the Church, sociologist, director of Cross - Observatory on Organized Crime and civil party to the Maxitrial;
- Antonio Roccuzzo, journalist, editor-in-chief of TgLa7, correspondent for Pippo Fava's "i Siciliani" during the Maxitrial.
