Symposium "Centenary of ancient Milanese municipalities - Towards a polycentric Milan of villages and neighborhoods".

The appointment is included in the path of meetings and initiatives "From villages to the city, from the city to the neighborhoods" aimed at commemorating the hundred years since the aggregation of the eleven villages and municipalities of the metropolitan belt (Affori, Baggio, Chiaravalle Milanese, Crescenzago, Gorla-Precotto, Greco Milanese, Lambrate, Musocco, Niguarda, Trenno, Vigentino) and the 150 years since the inclusion of the Corpi Santi, the villages that were located around the city, just beyond the Spanish Walls.

The conference is organized by the Presidency of the Municipal Council.

Interventions are planned Luca Gibillini (delegate of the Mayor's Cabinet for the coordination of "Milan is memory"), Barbara Bracco (Bicocca University), Walter Cherubini (Consult the suburbs of Milan), Giorgio Bacchiega (Suburban Study Center - CPM), Salvatore Crapanzano (Coordination of Milanese committees), Cristina Melchiorri (Dioguardi Foundation - SUM City Consortium - School), Rocco Ronza (Urban Genome).

The meeting will be moderated by the vice president of the city council, Roberta Osculati.
