MILAN IS MEMORY. Also this year, in line with the programmatic lines dictated by the City Council - which identifies Memory as a fundamental element of cohesion and city identity - in order to provide concrete support also in economic terms, contributions have been provided to in favor of bodies and associations involved in the preservation, promotion and dissemination of Memory. 
52 subjects participated in the tender, of which 25 were selected to receive a contribution, paid until funds are exhausted.

The selected projects deal with Memory from many points of view and with numerous thematic focuses, the whole of which forms an important plan of the broad associative commitment to the transmission of shared values ​​in the city. Particular attention to the centenary of the aggregation of the municipalities in Milan, with 5 different awarded projects, but the memory of the victims of the mafia, the Piazza Fontana massacre, the deportations of the fascist era, as well as research and dissemination work on important issues of the city of Milan such as hospitality, work, internal migration. The communication tools proposed by the selected projects are also different and interesting: videos, podcasts, group itineraries, conferences, even a collective fabric that becomes a bearer of memory. The spectrum of proponents is also plural, from important city foundations to small territorial associations.
