LAMBRATE AND "BIGGER MILAN" Conference: 1923-2023

With the Conference LAMBRATE AND “BIGGER MILAN”: 1923-2023, on Saturday 16 September, the program of initiatives will be inaugurated to commemorate the centenary of the aggregation of Lambrate in Milan.

The conference will be an opportunity for a reflection on the past, present and future of the territory where the Municipality of Lambrate once existed: with administrators, university professors, scholars.

During the morning, the video on Lambrate, created by 3D Productions within the schedule "From the Villages to the City, from the City to the Neighborhoods" of the City of Milan in collaboration with the 'University of Milan-Bicocca.

At 12:00, the inauguration of the library will be held in the Valvassori Peroni Library Photo exhibition: Lambrate 2023

The exhibition displays images by the photographer Elena Galimberti, taken for “Behind the corner", project of AIM – Metropolitan Interests Association, together with historical photos from the Archive of ACLI Lambrate Club “Giovanni Bianchi”.

Free entry to the ground floor from 16 to 30 September. It can be visited during the opening hours of the Library
