Thematic sites - Municipality of Milan

In order to give concrete support also in economic terms to the various entities in Milan that develop projects on Memory and the diffusion of values ​​adhering to the guidelines of "Milan is Memory", the Municipal Administration deemed it useful and appropriate to allocate the amount of €60.000,00, to support the projects of the bodies and associations involved in the dissemination of the constituent themes of "Milan is Memory" for the year 2022 in favor of the city of Milan, approving specific guidelines. 

Associations, bodies and other entities will now be able to participate in a new tender for the creation of non-profit projects and initiatives, aimed at communicating the meaning and value of Memory. Proposals must be submitted by September 15th and can receive up to €6.000,00, equal to 80% of the expenses incurred and documented.

The contribution requests will be examined by a technical commission - made up of members within the municipal administration - which will verify their admissibility and consistency with the guidelines. 

2023 will be an important year for Milan precisely in terms of memory conservation. A century ago the Municipality of Milan, with a resolution of the Municipal Council of 14 December 1923, aggregated the Municipalities of Affori, Baggio, Chiaravalle Milanese, Crescenzago, Gorla, Precotto, Greco Milanese, Lambrate, Musocco, Niguarda, Trenno and Vigentino. Thus was born the Milan of today with its large neighborhoods, polycentric and representative of many realities. For this reason, particular consideration will be given to projects that deal with this Centenary and aim to represent the history of the city, its present and its plural and polycentric future.
