In 2023 there are two important anniversaries for Milan: 150 years since the aggregation of the municipality of Corpi Santi and 100 years since the aggregation of the external municipalities (Affori, Baggio, Chiaravalle Milanese, Crescenzago, Gorla-Precotto, Greco Milanese, Lambrate, Musocco, Niguarda , Trenno and Vigentino).
To remember the dates of 1873 and 1923, which gave Milan its current shape, the City of Milan promoted the schedule “From the Villages to the City, from the City to the Neighborhoods”, within which municipalities, associations, neighborhood communities, universities and other entities that animate Milan held meetings and study sessions.

We look forward to seeing you on December 13th, at Palazzo Reale, at 16.00 pm, in the Conference Room, for the meeting "The tale of Milan: 100 years of the City we know (1923-2023)".
It was a year full of 'From the Villages to the City, from the City to the Neighborhoods', projects and initiatives which will end on 13 December, the day before the 100th anniversary of the aggregation of the 11 Municipalities outside Milan.

For the occasion, Councilors, Presidents of Municipalities and Associations will reflect on the story of Milan, with images and narratives of the transformations that have occurred and are underway in our city, but also on its future as a polycentric city, the result of its peculiar urban development .
