"Departure for Ocima, the Earth's friendly planet!". Social Cooperative Solidarity Action summer camp organized in July 2020 for the children of the neighborhood

WeMi Cenni promotes the first service shared among the inhabitants of the neighborhood to meet the needs of families who in this summer 2020 were unable to include their boys and girls in other group experiences. Managed by the social cooperative Azione Solidale in collaboration with the QuBi Forze Armate project, the campus was held in the Living space of the Cenni di Cambiamento social housing which houses the spaces of the cooperative and the WeMi Cenni desk. During the campus, a small group of boys and girls accompanied by an educator set off to discover an unknown planet to safely rediscover the sociality that was missing during the months at home!

The recreational and recreational activities took place mainly in the outdoor spaces of the social housing which offers a large courtyard for playing, and were designed with the aim of offering participants a space to reflect on the months spent at home and in an atmosphere of emergency. Through characters, images and narratives that accompanied the activities on a daily basis, the boys and girls were able to address topics such as danger, emergencies, requests for help, solidarity and friendship.
