ARTEMIDE: Mother-child group 0-12 months promoted by WeMi Pacinotti

The Artemide space is proposed as a meeting place for mothers and their children where they can share doubts, thoughts, difficult and fantastic moments that dot the first year of a mother's life

A soft colored rug, a basket of treasures, a few soft books, and a welcoming circle of mothers with their children... A tea and a chat to share doubts, thoughts, difficult and fantastic moments that dot the first year of a mother's life.

In 15 years, the Artemide space of the Farsi Prossimo Onlus has welcomed many mothers with their children who have been able to get to know each other, tell their stories, laugh and cry, and who, thanks to the group, have found support in a particular moment of their lives...

A professional educator with many years of experience is present at the meetings with the task of facilitating communication, proposing play and observation activities with the children and sending experts for further information.

Based on the wishes and requests of the participants it is possible to activate courses in infant massage, pediatric obstruction, self-weaning, meetings with the pediatrician and with experts.

The groups take place on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 12 at the headquarters in Piazza Villapizzone 12 starting from 14 October 2020.

To participate, registration and telephone booking are required; it is possible to register at any time of the year.

The initiative is promoted by Farsi Prossimo Onlus (www.farsiprossimo.it), a cooperative founded in 1993.
In more than 25 years of activity the Cooperative has grown and evolved, expanded and differentiated its activities, to respond effectively to changes in the social and cultural context of reference and to the new priorities that gradually emerged.

Since its origins, the cooperative has managed socio-educational services, often of an experimental and innovative nature, aimed at minors and families, women, vulnerable subjects, in particular immigrants and asylum seekers, and women victims of trafficking.

The Minors, Family and Territory area implements projects and manages services aimed at promoting the well-being of minors and their families, integration and social inclusion with a methodological approach that promotes social cohesion, the construction of local networks and enhances local resources.

The main areas of intervention are: support for the family in educational and care tasks, individual and group educational interventions aimed primarily at pre-adolescents and adolescents in structured and/or informal contexts, counseling and psychotherapy courses, interculture and training.
