Agenda: Hearing, pursuant to Art. 10 of the Nomination Regulations, of the candidates to be included in the list for the election of the Board of Directors of the Company - SPV Linea M4 S.p.A.

OUTCOME: 

As required by the art. 10 of the Regulation on the guidelines and procedures for the appointment, designation and revocation of representatives of the Municipality at entities, companies, institutions and investee companies, steps were taken to audit the candidates, proposed by the Mayor, to be included in the list for the election of the Board of Directors of the company SPV Linea 4 S.p.A.. The Directors had the opportunity to listen to their presentation and to ask the questions they considered useful, receiving adequate answers.

Agenda: Regional law to support separated or divorced spouses with children in economic and housing difficulty: opportunities and critical issues.

OUTCOME: 

The representative of the Small families Association declared that she will send an "open letter" to the Lombardy Region, to raise awareness of this body towards greater openness towards single-parent families, given that Regional Law n.18/14 allows access to benefits only to separated spouses with a marriage behind them and a sentence that obliges them to pay child support. Single-parent families of single people, veterans from cohabitation, or widowers are therefore excluded. The two Presidents of the Commissions, in turn, declared that they will in turn present an "Agenda", in the Council, with the same purpose, also because two regional tenders expire in July in order to be able to access contributions and accommodation.

The Budget Councilor, the Mobility Councilor, the General Director and the competent Technical Offices have provided further specifications regarding the additional costs for the construction of the M4 and the related Council resolution.

Agenda: Presentation of the bullying observatory.
The President of the Culture and Education commission of Municipality 8 will participate: Giovanni De Genio.

OUTCOME:

The Offices and ATS focused on the phenomenon of bullying, recalling law no. 71/2017 against cyberbullying and the creation at Municipality 8 of a "Municipal Observatory for the prevention and fight against bullying and cyberbullying" which involved 10 educational institutions in the West Milan area and some associations operating in this sector.
The Councilors welcomed the project in question, hoping that it can become a model for all city municipalities.

OUTCOME:

ATM illustrated the existing problems regarding the application of the new privacy law for newsstands that top up tram passes and the state of the art of the tender for the assignment of spaces on the MM mezzanines. The councilors noted some unclear situations regarding the sale of tickets and asked some questions relating to the conduct of the tender for the allocation of spaces, while the representatives of the newsagent's highlighted the current problems arising from the GDPR which join a generalized crisis in newsstands. The ATM representative provided reassurances regarding the implementation of refresher courses and the completion of the tender for the assignment of spaces on the mezzanines.

Council Commission Institutional Affairs Metropolitan City and Municipality(Chaired by Councilor Censi Arianna)
Agenda: Discussion on the hypotheses of regulatory interventions after the meetings with the Presidents of the Municipalities and the Presidents of the Municipal Councils.

Dr. Luigi Macchia, Deputy Director of the Municipalities Directorate, will participate.

OUTCOME:

After having collected the opinions and observations of both the Presidents of the Municipalities and the major representatives of the respective council assemblies of municipal decentralization, the session in question had the objective of summarizing, in terms of improvement proposals, what emerged in the previous meetings, held at the hearing. These meetings were very useful in focusing on the critical areas of the new decentralization regulation, after these years of first application, both in terms of the internal functioning of the local institution and the efficiency of its administrative structures. At this point, the opinions of the commissioners were debated, in order to appropriately calibrate any corrective interventions of a legislative and regulatory nature.
