BUILDING UNIT FOR CULTURE AND SPORT
AREA OF COMPETENCE: cultural and monumental spaces, buildings housing museums, theaters and libraries; sports facilities (both directly managed and outsourced)

  • Planning, management and coordination of "special" projects: Project Financing, cross-sector projects, competitions, concession projects, ...
  • Management and coordination of the implementation phase of new works, extraordinary maintenance, renovation, rehabilitation and compliance with regulations and fire prevention, ordinary maintenance of the buildings under its jurisdiction, also for the purposes of the safety of the buildings serving as workplaces (management and assistance of the works : carrying out inspections on construction sites, drafting the accounting of the works, management of reserves, testing of the works, drafting of certificates of regular execution, ...)
  • Verification of the adequacy of interventions relating to sports construction works carried out on areas owned by the municipality whose programming has been foreseen in the agreement
  • Management control of ordinary building and specialist structural interventions whose execution is expected to be carried out by concessionaires of sports facilities, reporting any non-compliance to the user management
  • Monitoring and execution, also with the help of external collaborators, of investigations aimed at the static assessment of sports facilities both directly managed and entrusted to third parties, necessary for the usability requirements of the facilities
  • Carrying out activities relating to similar control over in-house companies for the relevant part, in conjunction with the Subsidiaries and Real Estate Assets Management and the Budget and Revenue Management

CEMETERY BUILDING UNIT
AREA OF COMPETENCE: cemetery structures

  • Support to the Public Works Program Manager for the general planning and scheduling of extraordinary maintenance interventions and for new works and identification of maintenance needs 
  • Planning, management and coordination of "special" projects: Project Financing, cross-sector projects, competitions, concession projects, ...
  • Management and coordination of the design and implementation phase of new works, extraordinary maintenance, restructuring, rehabilitation, regulatory and fire prevention compliance of the relevant structures (management and assistance of the works: carrying out inspections of the construction sites, drawing up the accounting of the works, management of the reserves, testing of works, drafting of certificates of regular execution, ...)
  • Coordination, management and control, through internal process managers, of the integrated design and construction management activities entrusted to external parties
  • Development of "cemetery plans" for the identification of maintenance needs for existing structures, with definition of priorities and intervention costs
  • Planning and design of specific interventions for the accessibility of cemetery structures through "pilot projects"
  • Design, based on needs, of cemetery spaces for new structures for ossuary and cinerary cells

DESIGN UNIT

  •     Support to the user management in identifying the needs for extraordinary maintenance, renovation, rehabilitation and regulatory and fire prevention compliance and ordinary maintenance of the buildings under the responsibility of the Area in agreement with the Plant Area 
  • Support to the Public Works Program Manager for the planning, in collaboration with the user management, of new construction interventions, renovations, extraordinary and ordinary maintenance of existing buildings for all intended uses
  • Drafting of preliminary, definitive and executive projects, in coordination with the Management Units, for the construction of new works and for extraordinary and ordinary renovation and maintenance interventions for all intended uses relating to the User Management and in collaboration with the Plant Area 
  • Execution of procedures for the acquisition of opinions and technical approvals from other areas of the Administration and external bodies, within the scope of the relevant activities
  • Coordination, management and control, through internal Procedure Managers, of the design activities entrusted to external parties 
  • Verification of the adequacy of the projects and control of the adequacy of the interventions carried out relating to works to be carried out to deduct urbanization costs or by concessionaires / tenants
