The Municipality of Milan recognizes associations and all forms of active citizenship as functional tools for participation and shared administration of the city.

To register in the register, the Associations can indicate one or more Municipalities of interest for their activities.

Registration in the Register of Associations is permitted to regularly constituted associations provided that:

• have been carrying out their business for at least 1 year in the Municipality of Milan
• do not pursue profit-making purposes
• have the purpose of protecting citizens' rights and pursuing the goals of general interest of the local community, in accordance with the values ​​expressed by the Italian Constitution.
