The Municipality of Milan provides for the free endorsement of the register of volunteers for third sector bodies, which is mandatory by law.

For endorsement it is necessary that:

• each page of the register for which the stamp is requested must be numbered in advance by the applicant;
• in bound registers (e.g. Buffetti's) the name of the organisation, the tax code and the type of register (volunteer register) must be shown on the cover;
• in loose-leaf registers, the name of the organisation, the tax code and the type of register (volunteer register) must be reported on all pages and the back of the sheets must be canceled if it is not used.

Please note that currently the Third Sector Code does not impose particular formalities, such as endorsement, for the keeping of other company registers and books (e.g. minute book).

Different methods of access to the service are foreseen, in line with the purpose of the institution.
