Request for residency

Anyone who changes city or address must notify the Registry Office within 20 days of the move.

  • Registration takes place within two working days following the declaration
  • subsequently, the Municipality verifies the existence of the required requirements.

The legal effects of registry entries begin from the date of submission of the declaration.

However, if the tests give negative results, the procedure is interrupted. The Municipality sends a communication to the applicant, who can respond by presenting briefs or documents useful for the investigation.

In case of false declarations, the judicial authority is informed. Please remember that anyone who makes false declarations to a public official forfeits benefits and incurs criminal sanctions.
